CHILD ABUSE/ENDANGERMENT

(Penal Code Section 273d)

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT
(California Penal Code Sections 273.5 and 273d)

Testimonials

I was charged with Driving under the influence per Vehicle Code section 23152(a) and Vehicle Code section 23152(b) for a second drunk driving offense.
My minor child was also present in the car so I was also charged with Penal Code section 273a (a) child endangerment. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me.
Normally a second time drunk driving offense requires at least 60 days in jail if convicted. In addition the child endangerment charge requires a 52 week class if convicted [and could require additional jail].
Mr. Bruzzo argued my case with the District Attorney and demonstrated that aside from this incident I am a committed father and have had the same job for a long time.
In the end he managed to get the child endangerment charge (Penal Code Section 273a (a) DISMISSED and I admitted to a vehicular code enhancement that does not require a class.
Also, instead of getting jail I did an outpatient program which helps me keep my job and support my child.
I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Drunk Driving or child endangerment matter.

I was charged with child abuse [Penal Code Section 273a (a)] and Corporal Injury on a Child [Penal Code Section 273d (a). I was facing up to one year in jail for these offenses.
The reality is that I did not abuse any child and in fact I was trying to help a child with severe behavioral issues.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me in this matter. Mr. Bruzzo got letters in support of me to include a letter from the mother of the child in question.  [He presented these letters to the District Attorney].
In the end Mr. Bruzzo got both charges DISMISSED and I agreed to plead to a charge of Disturbing the Peace with Loud Noise [Penal Code Section 415(2) and give DNA, attend a class and complete community service. Once I complete these items the Disturbing the Peace charge will also be DISMISSED.
Notably, I am not required to go to jail and I have NO conviction.
I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any child abuse, corporal injury on a child or criminal matter.

I was charged with child abuse/child endangerment under Penal Code Section 273a (b) because the police said I left BB guns and medication in a place where my young children could get them.
I also have a lengthy criminal record. Mr. Bruzzo went to court several times for me. In the end he got the Penal Code Section 273a (b) DISMISSED. I pled guilty to a Penal Code Section 415(2)-Disturbing the Peace. [this client also violated probation on two different cases].
I was given no jail time and only had to pay fines. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any child abuse/endangerment case.

I was charged with Penal Code section 273a (a) [Child Abuse/Endangerment] and Penal Code Section 647(f) [Public Intoxication] regarding an incident with my 5 year old son. I did not believe the charges were fair given the situation. I was very concerned that such a conviction would affect my custody arrangement with my child; also, such a conviction would be devastating to my career. I hired William W. Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the courts and the district attorney and the judges in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated very hard for me with the end result that he got the child abuse/endangerment charge DISMISSED and the Public Intoxication DISMISSED once I completed a class. I never pled guilty, I have no conviction and I did not serve any jail time. I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was charged with Penal Code section 273a (b) [Child Abuse/Endangerment] regarding my son. Such a conviction would be devastating to my job. I hired William W. Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the courts and the district attorney and the judges. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated very hard for me with the end result that he got the child abuse/endangerment charge DISMISSED and I pled to a lesser charge. What is impressive is that my co-defendant pled guilty to child endangerment [she had a different attorney]. As such I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal or child endangerment matter.

I was charged with one count of Commercial Burglary (Penal Code Section 459-460(b)), one count of Grand Theft (Penal Code Section 487(a)) and two counts of child abuse / child endangerment (Penal Code Section 273a(a). I was facing up to 1 year in jail for these offenses. I was alleged to have conspired with someone else to steal from a store with minor children [from my family] present.  I hired attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated with the District Attorney and got all charges dismissed after I paid a small fee. My Co-defendant admitted to the charges. Mr. Bruzzo kept me out of jail and kept my record clean. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was charged with child abuse and child endangerment under Penal Code sections 273a (a) and 273a (b); these offenses could have caused me to spend up to one year in jail if I were convicted. In addition, the nature of the charges are such that if my employer were to find out about them it could have put my job in jeopardy.   I hired Attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter because of familiarity with the Courts and the District Attorney in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated with the District Attorney over this matter and eventually met with a supervising deputy as he felt that my side of the incident was not being properly heard. In the end, Mr. Bruzzo and the District Attorney agreed to DISMISS the case once my family and I underwent counseling. This result kept my record clean and it also helped keep my family together. I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for the work he did and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was charged with domestic violence (Penal Code Section 273.5), two counts of child abuse (Penal Code Section 273a (b) and battery on a co-habitant (Penal code section 243(e) (1). These sorts of charges would have caused me to lose my job and be unable to support my family if I was convicted of them. I could have also spent up to a year in jail. I hired Mr. William W. Bruzzo to represent me as I knew he had a good track record for representing other persons similarly situated. Also Mr. Bruzzo is apparently very familiar with the judges and the district attorneys in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo prepared my case by presenting evidence vouching for my good character. In the end, after a few court appearances Mr. Bruzzo negotiated a DISMISSAL OF ALL CHARGES against me with the agreement that I would plea guilty to a disturbing the peace charge (Penal Code Section 415(2)). This result permits me to keep my job and support my family. Without Mr. Bruzzo’s representation I could have lost everything. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.
