DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/Spousal Abuse
Testimonial
I was charged with Penal Code Section 273.5 [Domestic Violence]; a conviction of this crime could have caused me to spend up to 1 year in custody. I hired William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter because he is familiar with the Courts, the Judges and the District Attorneys in the County of Orange. Mr. Bruzzo realized the importance of keeping me out of jail and my record clean. Mr. Bruzzo used his familarity with the District Attorney’s office to negotiate an agreement where the case was DISMISSED once I completed an anger management class. This was despite bruising and a laceration to the victim’s body. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any domestic violence or criminal matter.

I was charged with Domestic Violence under Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Battery Against Spouse]; a conviction of this crime could have caused me to spend up to 1 year in custody; in addition, a conviction would have ruined my ability to support myself and my family by being on my permanent record. I hired William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter because he is familiar with the Courts, the Judges and the District Attorneys in the County of Orange. Mr. Bruzzo, realized the importance of keeping my record clean and so he made many appearances without my presence in an effort to resolve the case in my favor. When all efforts failed we set the matter for trial but continued to negotiate my case with the District Attorney. In the end, I pled to a disturbing the peace ( Penal Code 415) as an infraction which effectively kept my record clean and agreed to go to counseling. I truly believe that without Mr. Bruzzo’s knowledge of the law and his familiarity with the courts and the district attorney my result would not have been so good. As a result, I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any domestic violence or criminal matter

The victim in my case claimed that I struck her and showed the police bruising she said was a result of my striking her. The police took pictures of the bruising and submitted it to the District Attorney. Mr. Bruzzo made several visits to court and negotiated my case with the District Attorney pointing out the weaknesses in their case. In the end Mr. Bruzzo got the case DISMISSED, without my having to attend a class or pay a fine. In addition, I NEVER WENT TO COURT. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal and/or domestic violence matter.

I was charged with domestic violence (Penal Code Section 273.5), two counts of child abuse (Penal Code Section 273a (b) and battery on a co-habitant (Penal code section 243(e) (1). These sorts of charges would have caused me to lose my job and be unable to support my family if I was convicted of them. I could have also spent up to a year in jail. I hired Mr. William W. Bruzzo to represent me as I knew he had a good track record for representing other persons similarly situated. Also Mr. Bruzzo is apparently very familiar with the judges and the district attorneys in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo prepared my case by presenting evidence vouching for my good character. In the end, after a few court appearances Mr. Bruzzo negotiated a DISMISSAL OF ALL CHARGES against me with the agreement that I would plea guilty to a disturbing the peace charge (Penal Code Section 415(2)). This result permits me to keep my job and support my family. Without Mr. Bruzzo’s representation I could have lost everything. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.
