PETTY THEFT

Testimonials

I was charged with Penal Code Section 488 (Petty Theft). I was alleged to have taken items worth $600.00 from a store without paying. I hired Attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter. My most important concern was keeping my record clean. After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he made the appearances in court without my being present. Prior to my hiring Mr. Bruzzo I learned that he is extremely familiar with the District Attorneys in Orange County and this permits him to get better results for his clients. After Mr. Bruzzo made several appearances in court without my being present, he was able to negotiate a DISMISSAL with the District Attorney once I made a donation. I truly believe that without Mr. Bruzzo’s knowledge of the courts and the District Attorneys  I would not have had such a favorable result. I highly recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft or criminal matter.

I was charged with Penal Code Section 488 (Petty Theft); this crime carries a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail. I was alleged to have taken items worth about $174.00 from a store without paying. I hired Attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter. My most important concern was keeping my record clean .After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he made the appearances in court without my being present. Prior to my hiring Mr. Bruzzo I learned that he is extremely familiar with the District Attorneys in Orange County and this permits him to get better results for his clients. After a few appearances in court Mr. Bruzzo made an agreement with the District Attorney whereby I agreed to give DNA and attend a class and the matter would be DISMISSED. I never entered a plea of guilty and I did not pay a fine. I am very happy with my result. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal matter.

I was cited and detained for  Petty Theft  (Penal Code Section 484-488) as misdemeanor. I faced up to 6 months of jail for this offense. Also, a conviction would have had a horrible effect on my record, as well for my IMMIGRATION PURPOSES. It could have severely effected my future and possibly my naturalization process. In my case, I was caught in a store putting items into the child stroller and  I admitted to the crime. I decided to hire Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of the excellent results he gets for his clients and his familiarity with the courts and the District Attorney in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo made contact with the store managers who became sympathetic to my situation and agreed to tell the District Attorney he was not interested in pursing charges; Mr. Bruzzo then persuaded the District Attorney to permit me to make a donation to a charity with the agreement that the petty theft charge would not be filed. In the end the District Attorney agreed NOT TO FILE ANY of the petty theft charges against me- this means I never had a formal complaint brought against me; I never went to court; and I never had to plea guilty or be sentenced.   THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT I ADMITTED GUILT TO THE POLICE FOR THE CHARGES.   I truly believe that without Mr. Bruzzo’s representation none of this would have happen. As such I enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any petty theft or criminal matter.

I was accused of petty theft [a violation of Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 a misdemeanor] and told to appear in the Orange County Superior court.  It was alleged that I took items from a store without paying for it. The maximum jail sentence for this crime is 6 months in jail.

I hired Mr. Bruzzo because of his years of experience in the Orange County courts and his familiarity with all the District Attorneys.  I knew that only a lawyer practicing in Orange County for quite some time would be able to get me the result I desired. In addition because of the nature of my job any conviction could have had consequences for my continued employment.

Many individuals in the same situation as me qualify for a diversion class; however, that usually requires that the Defendant plea guilty up front with a dismissal later. This was not something I could do because of the sensitive nature of my job.

Mr. Bruzzo was aware of my situation. As such he negotiated an agreement with the District Attorney wherein I would get the case DISMISSED without a guilty plea after I made a “donation”.

I am truly grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for this result and I would highly recommend him for any petty theft or criminal matter.

I was charged with one count of Commercial Burglary (Penal Code Section 459-460(b)), one count of Grand Theft (Penal Code Section 487(a)) and two counts of child abuse / child endangerment (Penal Code Section 273a(a). I was facing up to 1 year in jail for these offenses. I was alleged to have conspired with someone else to steal from a store with minor children [from my family] present. I hired attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated with the District Attorney and got all charges dismissed after I paid a small fee. My Co-defendant admitted to the charges. Mr. Bruzzo kept me out of jail and kept my record clean. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was arrested for stealing items from a store valued at over $1,000.00. The high dollar amount of my case means it could have been filed as a felony. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the local courts and the District Attorney.  Mr. Bruzzo contacted the District Attorney before the court date in an effort to convince them not to file the case as a felony. Mr. Bruzzo was successful because the case was filed as a misdemeanor grand theft (Penal Code Section 487 (a)) The District Attorney was initially reluctant to give me a good deal because of the value of the property taken. However, after speaking with the District Attorney Mr. Bruzzo was able to negotiate a DISMISSAL once I completed community service, paid a fee, gave DNA and completed a class. This arrangement had the effect of keeping a conviction off my record. As such I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any theft or criminal matter.

I was charged with a violation of Penal Code sections 496(a) (Receiving stolen property); 484(a)-488 (Petty Theft); and 647(h) (Prowling). I could have spent up to one year in jail for these offenses and suffered a conviction on my record.  I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his knowledge with the Orange County Courts and the District Attorney. My case was complicated by the fact that the investigating officer found me looking into unoccupied vehicles that did not belong to me. Also, I admitted to entering other people’s vehicles without permission and taking their property. Then I consented to a search of my vehicle which revealed several items that did not belong to me valued at $300.00. Mr. Bruzzo set to work negotiating my case with the District Attorney. Despite all the evidence against me he was able to get the case DISMISSED after I completed community service. This result kept me out of jail and kept a conviction off my record. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal and/or theft matter.

Mr. Bruzzo took care of everything from the beginning to the end.  Thanks to him, my record is clean.

I am happy to recommend Mr. Bruzzo to anyone facing a criminal charge, especially petty theft.

I was charged with Grand Theft (Penal Code Section 487) for taking property in excess of $500.000; in addition, I admitted to committing the crime to the police. I was referred to Attorney William W. Bruzzo by a person familiar with the courts and criminal attorneys. After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he set to work on my case even though the matter was not yet in court. Because the loss in my case exceeded $400.00 and could have been filed as a felony he spoke with the District Attorney prior to filing and managed to get the case filed as a misdemeanor. Then he began negotiating with the District Attorney for a dismissal. Any conviction for a theft offense could have resulted in the end of my career, thus it was very important for Mr. Bruzzo get the case dismissed. Mr. Bruzzo presented my case to the District Attorney, to include positive things about me, with the end result that the case was DISMISSED after I completed community service, attended counseling and paid a small fee. What is more, I NEVER HAD TO APPEAR IN COURT AFTER I HIRED MR. BRUZZO. I truly believe that Mr. Bruzzo’s experience in the local courts as well as his abilities made all the difference in my case. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.
