Petty Theft Case Dismissed

I was charged with Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 [Petty Theft] for taking an items from a store without paying for it.  I simply made a mistake, it was not an intentional act. Regardless I was given a ticket and required to go to court.
The value of the item was very low. However, I have a sensitive job and any conviction for a theft offense could have caused me to lose my job and permanently effected my career.
I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his prior case results.
Mr. Bruzzo appeared in the court on my behalf and negotiated a DISMISSAL of the case once I completed a class and gave DNA.
I never pled guilty or admitted any wrongdoing.  I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft [484(a)-488] matter.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed After Giving DNA

Several years ago I was charged with Petty Theft under Penal Code Section 484(a)-488; I hired Mr. Bruzzo and he was able to get the Petty Theft Charge dismissed.
Then, a few months ago I made the mistake of taking some low value items from a store and I was again charged with a Petty Theft; the District Attorney was also aware of my prior case even though the Petty Theft Charge had been dismissed.
Mr. Bruzzo said he thought he could still get the new charge dismissed despite my prior for the same thing. He went to court several times without me. In the end, he was able to get the most recent Petty Theft Charge (Penal Code Section 484a-488) DISMISSED  after I gave DNA and attended a class.
I never pled guilty and I never got a conviction. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft matter or criminal case.

I was very concerned about having this on my record. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me on this matter as he is a local attorney and knows the courts and the City Attorney for Anaheim who prosecute the cases.
Mr. Bruzzo argued my case and presented mitigating information to the City Attorney for me. In the end he got the Misdemeanor DISMISSED and I pled guilty to an infraction. An infraction is the equivalent of a traffic ticket.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed After Giving DNA

I was charged with Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488) for taking an item. I was seen on video taking the item.
My job is very sensitive and a guilty plea or conviction would be a career ender.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo b/c of his success in prior theft cases.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed - No Guilty Plea

I was detained at a store for Shoplifting [Petty Theft Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] for taking clothes from a store. At that time it was determined by video tape that I had stolen from the same store on a previous occasion.
As a result I was charged with Two Counts of Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484a-488] for two different occasions by the District Attorney.
I was very concerned with how this would affect my career and my life in general.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his prior excellent case results and his prior experience with Petty Theft Cases. Mr. Bruzzo met with the District Attorney on several occasions and managed to get BOTH CHARGES DISMISSED, once I did Community Service, gave DNA and made a “donation”.

I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent because of his past success with similar cases.
I have a very sensitive job that could have been effected by a guilty plea or a conviction. Mr. Bruzzo managed to get both charges dismissed after I gave DNA and completed community service. I never pled guilty and I never suffered a conviction.

Case Dismissed - No Admission of Guilt

I was charged with Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] for taking items from a store without paying for them. The value of the goods was about $155.00
I was very concerned with getting a conviction on my record because I hold a vocational license and it could have been effected by this case which means I could have lost my job.
I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his excellent case results and because he understood that this could have caused me to lose my job
[For a person with a vocational license-Teacher, Nurse, Real Estate, Doctor, Therapist, Lawyer- the deferred entry of judgement program (DEJ) does not work. That is because the licensing boards for these jobs treat a guilty plea the same as a conviction and guilty pleas are required for the DEJ program even if the court later dismisses the case prior to sentencing].
Mr. Bruzzo negotiated with the District Attorney and was able to get them to DISMISS my case once I attended a class, gave DNA and made a “donation” to a charitable cause within the court system.  [Client never made an admission of guilt]
I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] or criminal matter.

Case Dismissed Without Giving Guilty Plea

I was detained at a store by store security for taking items [I had not paid for]. I was later charged in Court with Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488) for taking $182.00 worth of items.
I was very concerned about this case because I am a licensed nurse and a conviction or even just a guilty plea could affect my nursing license.
I spoke with Mr. Bruzzo about my situation; he was familiar with other people in my position and knew how to proceed. He told me that we had to dismiss the case without a guilty plea. Many first time offenders, like me, are eligible for dismissal but only after a plea of guilty. However, with my nursing license at stake I could not plead guilty [even if the case was later dismissed.]
Mr. Bruzzo went to court for me and convinced the District Attorney to DISMISS the case, without a guilty plea. All I had to do was give DNA.
I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] or criminal matter.

Donation Made, Petty Theft Charge Dismissed

I attempted to take an item from a store without paying for it. As I was approached by Loss Prevention [Person] I fled the scene and dropped the item.  The Loss Prevention Official claimed I “pushed past him”. Any sort of physical contact can turn a Petty Theft Case (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488) into a Felony Robbery Case [Known as an Estes Robbery]. I contacted Mr. Will Bruzzo immediately after the incident and hired him.
Mr. Bruzzo contacted the police for me so I would not be arrested at work [the loss prevention person got my license plate as I left the scene].
Fortunately the case got filed as a Petty Theft [484(a)-488].  Mr. Bruzzo then used his relationship with the District Attorney to get my case DISMISSED without pleading guilty. Instead I made a “donation” and gave DNA. This kept my record as clean as possible.  I am very happy with this result and I would recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal matter.

Petty Theft Charge Dismissed

I received a citation for Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 [Petty Theft- Shoplifting] when I took almost $600.00 from a department store without paying. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his experience with Petty Theft matters. Mr. Bruzzo informed me that even a guilty plea with a dismissal later [Deferred Entry of Judgement] is still a conviction for Immigration purposes and that I needed to get a straight dismissal.
Mr. Bruzzo is very experienced with the District Attorney and courts in Orange County and he negotiated with them for a period of time with the result that they agreed to DISMISS the case once I attended a class and made a “donation”.

Anaheim Petty Theft Charge Reduced to Trespass

I was cited and charged with taking items from a store in Anaheim worth $250.00. The Anaheim City Attorney charged me with Petty Theft under Penal Code Section 484(a)-488.  This sort of charge could have ruined my career because it is a crime of dishonesty. Unlike the rest of Orange County, Anaheim does not have a Deferred Entry of Judgment (DEJ) program.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his experience with Petty Theft cases and his experience in Orange County.

Mr. Bruzzo gathered information about my job to show its sensitive nature and even got a letter from my wife to show the personal stress I was under at the time. In the end Mr. Bruzzo convinced the City Attorney to DISMISS the Petty theft and I pled to a trespass charge.
This arrangement kept a crime of moral turpitude off my record. I am very happy about this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any similar Petty Theft or criminal matter.

Complete Dismissal after Donation, DNA, and Class

I was arrested for taking items from a Department store without paying for them. In addition, the store security personnel claimed I had done this before but not been caught. As a result I was charged with Penal Code Section 459-460(b), Commercial Burglary.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his prior experience with shoplifting cases. Mr. Bruzzo put me in a special shoplifting class; he also pressed the District Attorney to prove that I had done this previously.
When the District Attorney could not provide the evidence [that I had done this before] he negotiated a complete DISMISSAL of the case once I made a “Donation”, gave DNA and completed the class. I never pled guilty to the charge! I am very happy with this result and I would highly recommend Mr. Bruzzo.

Reduced to Infraction, Career Saved

I was cited for misdemeanor Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488]. This was a serious problem for me because my job requires that I be licensed through the state. A Petty Theft conviction could have ended my career. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because I could tell from his website that he had tremendous experience with Petty Theft cases. Mr. Bruzzo made numerous appearances in court without me. He also consulted with a licensing attorney and I participated in the consultation.
Mr. Bruzzo finally went to the Supervisor of the District Attorneys and got them to reduce the case to an infraction, [Penal Code Section 490.1] which is like a traffic ticket. I am very grateful for this result and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any Petty Theft or criminal case.

Took Items from Store, Case Dismissed

In a momentary lapse of reason I took several items from a store without paying for them; the value of these items was about $550.00. I was charged with Petty Theft under Penal Code Section 484(a)-488.
I was very concerned about this charge and a possible conviction because I want to be a Registered Nurse and a conviction for this charge could cause me to be denied a license by the Nursing Board.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his experience with similar cases and his excellent results.
Mr. Bruzzo informed me that even a Guilty plea with a dismissal later could cause me NOT to get my Nursing License. Mr. Bruzzo then set out to get the case dismissed without my pleading guilty.
Mr. Bruzzo has tremendous experience with the District Attorneys and Judges in Orange County; this helps him negotiate better deals for his clients. In the end, Mr. Bruzzo managed to make a deal with the District Attorney where I attended a class and made a charitable donation and the case got DISMISSED.
I never pled guilty or suffered any conviction. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft or criminal case.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed

I was charged with taking over $300.00 of merchandise from a store without paying for it and I received a citation for Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 [Petty Theft]. I work in education and a guilty plea or conviction for this offense could have ended my career.

Mr. Bruzzo appeared in court without me several times and was able to negotiate a result where I attended a class, made a ‘donation’ and gave DNA with the result that the case was DISMISSED!
I complied with the terms of the agreement and the Judge dismissed the case. I never pled guilty and I have no conviction.

I am very happy with this result as I feel it saved my career and avoided a lot of embarrassment and other problems.

I would therefore enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any petty theft or criminal matter.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed

I was charged with Petty Theft for [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] for taking over $200.00 of items from a store. In addition, I had a prior conviction for another crime and I had attended a diversion program on yet another case.
A conviction for Petty Theft would have ruined my current career because it is a crime of moral turpitude. Mr. Bruzzo was well aware of the stakes involved with my job. He worked hard for a civil compromise on the case.  When that did not work out he was finally able to find a District Attorney willing to DISMISS the case once I completed community service and made a “donation.”
I never pled guilty, I never attended a class, and I have no conviction. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft or criminal matter.

Admitted to theft, Case Dismissed without a guilty plea

I was charged with Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] for taking more than $80.00 from a store. I had a prior case for driving on a suspended license [Vehicle Code Section 146101.1] which I pled guilty to. I admitted to committing the theft. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo because I know I needed to avoid a guilty plea because I want to be a teacher. Interestingly, before I hired Mr. Bruzzo I had the public defender who want me to plead guilty to the offense.
Mr. Bruzzo informed me that result might keep me from being a teacher. After I hired him Mr. Bruzzo he went to court several times and brought letters of recommendation and medical records. I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his experience with theft and burglary cases. Mr. Bruzzo put together letters of recommendation and other items to help persuade the District Attorney. In the end Mr. Bruzzo got one felony DISMISSED and the other reduced to a misdemeanor. Case Dismissed, Vocational License Saved

I was charged with Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484a-488] for taking an item worth $150.00 from a major retailer. I am a professional and I have a vocational license. I could have lost my license and had other job related problems now and in the future if I pled guilty to this charge.
I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo because I saw the results he got for other clients and I could tell he knew what effect pleading guilty to a theft offense can have on someone who is licensed like myself.
Mr. Bruzzo made contact with the store I took the item from and managed to convince them to accept money to compensate them for their loss prevention activities in exchange for them agreeing to a civil compromise where they ask the court not to prosecute with the agreement they receive compensation.
Mr. Bruzzo then went to court and got the Judge to agree to the arrangement [over the objection of the District Attorney].
As such, my case was DISMISSED; I never entered a plea of guilty and never attended a class.
I am very grateful for this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal or petty theft matter.

Petty Theft Case Dismissed, No Guilty Plea

I was stopped and cited for taking things from a department store worth about $238.00. I was charged by the District Attorney with Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488];

Because I work in education I could have lost my job with a conviction for this offense. In addition, it was my understanding that I could have qualified for a program where I earned a dismissal AFTER I pled guilty. The problem is that being in education I could have still lose my job even if the guilty plea was eventually dismissed.

I was referred to Mr. Will Bruzzo by a friend; Mr. Bruzzo informed me that he has successfully negotiated the dismissal of many Petty Theft charges WITHOUT a guilty plea and that this was necessary because I work as a teacher.

Mr. Bruzzo appeared in court a few times without me and showed the District Attorney letters of appreciation and recommendation on my behalf.

In the end Mr. Bruzzo got the case DISMISSED without a guilty plea once I gave DNA, made a “donation” and attended a class.

I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for this result and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal or petty theft matter.

Complete dismissal without a guilty plea

I was charged with Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 [Petty Theft] for taking items from a store without paying for them. My job requires an occupational license [issued by the state] to perform that job. A guilty plea and/or a conviction could have caused me to lose my occupational license and therefore my job.

I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his successful results on other similar cases and his knowledge of the courts, District Attorney and Judges in Orange County.

Mr. Bruzzo negotiated hard with the District Attorney and explained the predicament this charge could cause for my job.  Many people are eligible for a dismissal if they plea guilty first. But a guilty plea could cause me to lose my job.

In the end Mr. Bruzzo negotiated a complete DISMISSAL without a guilty plea once I gave DNA, made a “donation” and did Community Service. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any petty theft or criminal case.

Bruzzo's client case dismissed, co-defendent with different attorney pled guilty

I was charged with Petty Theft [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488] for taking about $120.00 in items from a store without paying for them. I was also with a friend who was charged with the same thing.

I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me and my friend hired someone else. My friend pled guilty to the offense and attended a class.

Mr. Bruzzo said it was important to my future that I NOT plead guilty. He negotiated a disposition with the District Attorney where I did community service, made a donation and give DNA without pleading guilty.

Mr. Bruzzo got the case DISMISSED without any admission on my part.

This was amazing result given that my friend and Co-defendant was charged with the same thing I was [and pled guilty].

As such I would highly recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any petty theft or criminal matter.

I was charged with Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484-488a) when I removed political yard signs from common areas as they were making a mess and cluttering the area where I live. The police cited me for this offense and gave me a court date. I was very concerned about this matter since my job could be sensitive to a criminal charge. Although I had removed the signs it was under the mistaken assumption that the place the signs had been placed was public land but apparently they were placed on land belonging to a nearby business.

I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because he told me that he would speak to the District Attorney beforethe court date with the intent of persuading them not to file the case so that it never go to court.

After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he immediately contacted the District Attorney’s office and sent them my correspondence with the city on the sign issue to show it was an innocent mistake.

In the end, the matter never went to court, the case was never filed and my record is clean. I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for being so aggressive on this matter which put me in the best possible position with the best possible outcome. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any similar matter.

I was cited for Petty Theft in Orange County [Penal Code Section 484(a)-488]. I was very concerned with having this charge on my record. I hired Attorney will Bruzzo to represent me on this case because of his success on prior cases with the same charge. Mr. Bruzzo used his experience and familiarity with the Orange County Courts to negotiate a result where the petty theft was DISMISSED and I pled guilty to a Trespass (Penal Code Section 602(k). I am very grateful for this result as it keeps my record free of a conviction that involves dishonesty. Mr. Bruzzo got this result even I though I admitted to the crime to the police. As such I would recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any similar criminal matter.

I was detained for Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488) for taking over $100.00 from a department store without paying. A conviction could have put my career in serious jeopardy. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his success with these types of cases and his experience with the courts and District Attorney in Orange County.  Mr. Bruzzo appeared in court without me and after a few appearances he was able to get a DISMISSAL once I completed a Petty Theft Class outside the regular court system and made a donation. I never pled guilty to the crime!
I am very happy with this result and I therefore I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft or Criminal matter.

I was charged with felony burglary (Penal Code Section 459-460(b)) for taking items from a store worth about $500.00; My family and I were very concerned about this because we knew that a felony conviction could ruin any potential career of mine. Also, as a felony my maximum jail time was three years in prison. We hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his experience with similar cases. From the beginning Mr. Bruzzo said that his goal was to get the case dismissed and that I was a candidate for such a dismissal because of my lack of a record and because I was in school. Mr. Bruzzo first had to get the case reduced to a misdemeanor. He worked hard to do that and he made multiple trips to speak with the District Attorney to include outside of court. Mr. Bruzzo finally got the District Attorney to REDUCE the case to a misdemeanor and send the case to the Misdemeanor Calendar which means the case would be treated as misdemeanor from that moment on.
However, Mr. Bruzzo was not done. In order to put me in the best position possible he had me start a long class on petty theft prior to going to court; I finished the class while the court matter was pending. Mr. Bruzzo used my class completion, letters of recommendation, my lack of a record and my being a student to negotiate with the District Attorney. In the end the case was DISMISSED once I gave DNA. I never admitted guilt at any time during the proceedings. I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for his efforts and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was charged with Penal Code Section 484-488 [Petty Theft] for taking approximately $200.00 of property  from a store without paying. I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with these types of crimes. Also, I would have lost my job had I been convicted and EVEN if I had pled guilty without a conviction I would have lost my job.

Mr. Bruzzo worked very hard for me. In the end he negotiated a special deal where I took a long class and underwent counseling and received a DISMISSAL once I made a donation and gave DNA. [I never pled guilty] I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for this result and I would recommend him for any criminal or Petty Theft matter.

I was charged by the police with Penal Code Section 459-460(b) [Commercial Burglary] for taking about $200.00 of property from a store without permission. I admitted that I came to the store to steal the items when I spoke with the loss prevention people in the store. I was very concerned that if I got convicted of the this offense it would ruin my future career. I hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the Courts, Judges and District Attorney in the County of Orange. Mr. Bruzzo made several appearances in court without me. In the end he managed to get the case DISMISSED once I completed community service and gave DNA. I never pled guilty, I never took a class, I don’t have a conviction. What is remarkable about this result is that I had a co-defendant who did not have a lawyer but I was equally responsible for the theft with her. She ended up admitting guilt and I did not. Therefore I am very grateful for Mr. Bruzzo’s work and I would highly recommend him for any theft, burglary or criminal matter.

I was charged with Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488) four years ago; I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. I ended up paying a sum of money and the case was dismissed. I never pled guilty, I never suffered a conviction. Then 4 years later I once again was cited for Petty Theft (Penal Code Section 484(a)-488). The District Attorney knew about my prior case and usually that is a bar toward any type of dismissal or program.
However, Mr. Bruzzo has practiced in Orange County for a long time and he was able to persuade the District Attorney to once again DISMISS the case after I took a lengthy class on theft. Once again, I did not plea guilty or suffer a conviction. In fact I never appeared in court; Mr. Bruzzo took care of everything.
This dismissal was critical to me because I hold a vocational license as part of my job and if I had been convicted on either of these cases I could have lost my license and therefore my career.
As such, I strongly recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal or Petty Theft matter.

My son took items worth more then $100.00 from a store and left without paying for them. This would have been charged as a Petty Theft [California Penal Code Sections 484-488]. My son was already on probation for another matter and so if this new case had been filed his probation would have been violated and he could have been incarcerated. We hired attorney Will Bruzzo to represent him because we could see from his web site that he has successfully handled many petty theft cases. We expressed our concern with this new case violating his probation. Mr. Bruzzo understood our concerns and said he would try to resolve the case without it going to court. This required him to negotiate with the victim of the theft and investigating officer. In the end Mr. Bruzzo was able to KEEP THE CASE FROM BEING FILED by making an agreement with the corporate victim to compensate them for their loss as well as making a charitable donation. This meant our son never got cited for the offense, never had charges filed and never went to court. We are very happy with this result and we would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any petty theft or criminal matter.

Also, a conviction would have had a horrible effect on my record, as well for my IMMIGRATION PURPOSES. It could have severely effected my future and possibly my naturalization process. In my case, I was caught in a store putting items into the child stroller and  I admitted to the crime. Mr. Bruzzo made contact with the store managers who became sympathetic to my situation and agreed to tell the District Attorney he was not interested in pursing charges; Mr. Bruzzo then persuaded the District Attorney to permit me to make a donation to a charity with the agreement that the petty theft charge would not be filed. In the end the District Attorney agreed NOT TO FILE ANY of the petty theft charges against me- this means I never had a formal complaint brought against me; I never went to court; and I never had to plea guilty or be sentenced.   THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT I ADMITTED GUILT TO THE POLICE FOR THE CHARGES.   I truly believe that without Mr. Bruzzo’s representation none of this would have happen. I was accused of petty theft [a violation of Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 a misdemeanor] and told to appear in the Orange County Superior court.  It was alleged that I took items from a store without paying for it. The maximum jail sentence for this crime is 6 months in jail.

I hired Mr. Bruzzo because of his years of experience in the Orange County courts and his familiarity with all the District Attorneys.  I knew that only a lawyer practicing in Orange County for quite some time would be able to get me the result I desired. In addition because of the nature of my job any conviction could have had consequences for my continued employment.

Many individuals in the same situation as me qualify for a diversion class; however, that usually requires that the Defendant plea guilty up front with a dismissal later. This was not something I could do because of the sensitive nature of my job.

Mr. Bruzzo was aware of my situation. As such he negotiated an agreement with the District Attorney wherein I would get the case DISMISSED without a guilty plea after I made a “donation”.

I am truly grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for this result and I would highly recommend him for any petty theft or criminal matter.

I was arrested for stealing items from a store valued at over $1,000.00. The high dollar amount of my case means it could have been filed as a felony. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the local courts and the District Attorney.  Mr. Bruzzo contacted the District Attorney before the court date in an effort to convince them not to file the case as a felony. Mr. Bruzzo was successful because the case was filed as a misdemeanor grand theft (Penal Code Section 487 (a)) The District Attorney was initially reluctant to give me a good deal because of the value of the property taken. However, after speaking with the District Attorney Mr. Bruzzo was able to negotiate a DISMISSAL once I completed community service, paid a fee, gave DNA and completed a class. This arrangement had the effect of keeping a conviction off my record. As such I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any theft or criminal matter.

I highly recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Petty Theft or criminal matter.

I was charged with a violation of Penal Code Sections 487(a)-Grand Theft and Penal Code Sections 459-460(b)-Commercial Burglary. I faced up to one year in jail for these offenses. I was alleged to have taken more then $1,500.00 in property that did not belong to me. IN addition, I was caught red handed and admitted to the crime. I was very concerned about my record and how it could effect my record. I was referred to Mr. William Bruzzo who is very experienced with these matters and very familiar with the courts and the District Attorney in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated my case with the DA with the result that the case was DISMISSED once I completed a class, performed community services and gave DNA.  Mr. Bruzzo kept my record clean. I would therefore enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I was charged with Penal Code Section 488 (Petty Theft). I was alleged to have taken items worth $123.00 from a store without paying. I hired Attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter. My most important concern was keeping my record clean as I am a licensed professional.  After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he made the appearances in court without my being present. Prior to my hiring Mr. Bruzzo I learned that he is extremely familiar with the District Attorneys in Orange County and this permits him to get better results for his clients. I was charged with a violation of Penal Code sections 496(a) (Receiving stolen property); 484(a)-488 (Petty Theft); and 647(h) (Prowling). I could have spent up to one year in jail for these offenses and suffered a conviction on my record.  I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his knowledge with the Orange County Courts and the District Attorney. My case was complicated by the fact that the investigating officer found me looking into unoccupied vehicles that did not belong to me. Also, I admitted to entering other people’s vehicles without permission and taking their property. Then I consented to a search of my vehicle which revealed several items that did not belong to me valued at $300.00. Mr. Bruzzo set to work negotiating my case with the District Attorney. Despite all the evidence against me he was able to get the case DISMISSED after I completed community service. This result kept me out of jail and kept a conviction off my record. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal and/or theft matter.

I was accused of petty theft [a violation of Penal Code Section 484(a)-488 a misdemeanor] and told to appear in the Orange County Superior court.  It was alleged that I took an item worth over $300.00 from a store without paying for it.

In addition, as I am not a citizen there would have been serious immigration consequences for me if I had been convicted of this crime.

Mr. Bruzzo went to court several times in an effort to negotiate my case. Thankfully, he was able to get me a complete DISMISSAL after just a few court appearances.  All I had to do was complete a short class and give a DNA sample. Mr. Bruzzo took care of everything from the beginning to the end.  Thanks to him, my record is clean.

I am happy to recommend Mr. Bruzzo to anyone facing a criminal charge, especially petty theft.

I was charged with Grand Theft (Penal Code Section 487) for taking property in excess of $500.000; in addition, I admitted to committing the crime to the police. I was referred to Attorney William W. Bruzzo by a person familiar with the courts and criminal attorneys. After I hired Mr. Bruzzo he set to work on my case even though the matter was not yet in court. Because the loss in my case exceeded $400.00 and could have been filed as a felony he spoke with the District Attorney prior to filing and managed to get the case filed as a misdemeanor. Then he began negotiating with the District Attorney for a dismissal. Any conviction for a theft offense could have resulted in the end of my career, thus it was very important for Mr. Bruzzo get the case dismissed. Mr. Bruzzo presented my case to the District Attorney, to include positive things about me, with the end result that the case was DISMISSED after I completed community service, attended counseling and paid a small fee. What is more, I NEVER HAD TO APPEAR IN COURT AFTER I HIRED MR. BRUZZO. I truly believe that Mr. Bruzzo’s experience in the local courts as well as his abilities made all the difference in my case. I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.
