Possession of a Controlled Substance
[Health and Safety Code Sections 11350 and 11377]
Testimonials
I was stopped while driving my vehicle and arrested for Drunk Driving. After my arrest they found vicodin in my possession. They charged me with Health and Safety Code Section 11350 [Possession of a controlled substance] as a felony. I had a prescription but it was more then three years old. I hired Mr. Will Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the courts, the judges and the District Attorney. The District Attorney wanted to give me 120 days of jail for the case. However, Mr. Bruzzo negotiated a dismissal of the possession charge. In the end, I pled to a misdemeanor [Drunk Driving] and got no jail. I therefore enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal matter.

I was charged with Health and Safety Code 11377(a) [Possession of a Controlled Substance]; a felony. This charge arose when I was stopped in my vehicle and a search revealed I had methamphetamine in my possession. I hired attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me because of his familiarity with the court, Judges and District Attorney. Mr. Bruzzo was able to negotiate a full DISMISSAL OF THE CASE after I gave DNA, and made a donation. I never pled guilty and never had to attend a program. As a result I recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any possession of a controlled substance or criminal case.

I was charged with Health and Safety Code Section 11377(a) (Possession of a controlled substance HS 11377(a)) a felony which carries a maximum of 3 years in prison. I had previous convictions for the same charge and I had similar charges pending. I was also charged with driving on a suspended license (Vehicle Code Section 14601.1 – VC 14601.1) and possession of paraphernalia (Health and Safety Code Section 11364 – HS 11364(a)) as misdemeanors. I hired Mr. William Bruzzo because he was recommended by another attorney and because of his familiarity with the Orange County courts and the District Attorney. The original offer prior to hiring Mr. Bruzzo was 180 days in jail and pleading guilty to a felony. Mr. Bruzzo convinced the District Attorney there was not a useable amount of the controlled substance and that my driving on a suspended license was justifiable by Necessity, even though I had priors [convictions] for [that charge] too. Mr. Bruzzo got the possession charge DISMISSED [Health and Safety Code Section 11377(a) – HS 11377(a)] and the Vehicle Code Section 14601.1 [Driving on a suspended license – VC 14601.1] DISMISSED. I plead guilty to one count of possession of paraphernalia as a misdemeanor [Health and Safety Code Section 11364(a) – HS 11364] and I got CAL TRANS [instead of jail]. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any possession of a controlled substance case or any criminal matter.

I was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and for being under the influence of it, a violation of Health and Safety Code section 11550(a) [H&S 11550(a)]. I faced up to 1 year in county jail for this offense. I had failed to appear for my arraignment and there was an active warrant in the system for my arrest. The warrant had been in effect for many years. I found out about this case when I looked at my background online and I was very concerned. I hired the Law Offices of William W. Bruzzo to represent me as they are familiar with the Courts, the Judges and the District Attorney. Because of my prison priors I was not eligible for a drug diversion program. However, The Law Offices of William Bruzzo recalled my warrant immediately upon being hired and later negotiated with the District Attorney on my behalf and argued a Serna motion which was granted by the Judge! I got the case DISMISSED in the interest of justice. I truly believe that The Law Offices of William W. Bruzzo’s knowledge of the law and their familiarity with the courts and the district attorneys made all the difference in my case and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter.

I pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance (Health and Safety Code Section 11377(a)) and aspart of my sentence, I was permitted to undergo the Penal Code Section 1000 (PC 1000) program. Due to personal health reasons, I missed my required attendances and was terminated from the program. The Orange County judge considered me to be in violation of the program twice and I was threatened with the possibility of doing time in jail and having a criminal record. My attorney from the law offices of Will Bruzzo worked with my doctor and me to get me onto proper medication that I needed to successfully complete the program. Then, he convinced the judge to allow me to re-enroll in PC 1000. His patient and thorough strategy while representing me kept me from being sentenced up to 90 days in custody and protect me from having a criminal conviction.

I was arrested and charged for possession of methamphetamine, a controlled substance pursuant to Health and Safety code section 11377(a). I thought the police conduct in this instance was outrageous and wrong. I decided to hire Attorney William W. Bruzzo when I learned of his experience in the Orange County courts and his familiarity with the District Attorneys and the Judges. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated my case with the District Attorney and then filed a motion to suppress the evidence based on an illegal search. After filing the motion Mr. Bruzzo argued the motion. In the end the motion to suppress was granted and the court DISMISSED the case. I could have faced up to one year in jail and three years of probation on this matter but for Mr. Bruzzo’s actions. As a result I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. B ruzzo for any criminal matter.
