A television producer’s wife was found dead in Cancun, Mexico. Her husband Bruce Beresford-Redman reported her missing and two days later her body was found in a sewer. Reports say that Monica Beresford-Redman’s body showed signs of strangulation and multiple head injuries. Mexican authorities say Mr. Beresford-Redman is a person of interest and have already questioned him regarding the last time he saw his wife. The couple were with their children on vacation. The Los Angeles Times reported that the marriage had been strained and hotel guests had heard arguing from the Redman’s room. Mexican authorities have prohibited Beresford-Redman from leaving pending further investigation. Penal Code Section 187.
