Detectives in Moreno Valley have been working on finding who is responsible for the death of 17 year-old Norma Lopez. Her body was found five days after her family reported her missing on July 15, 2010. It was found in a field and showed signs of decomposition. One witness told authorities he saw a green SUV leave the site, giving one clue as to who might be involved. Police then obtained a search warrant for a home which led to the arrest of a male adult for obstruction of justice and resisting a police officer during the search. The man lived in the house with his wife and 25 year old son, who was the subject of the search warrant. The police also confiscated their green Mitsubishi Montero. The investigation is still on going and anyone with information is encouraged to contact investigators.
