Pipe Bombs and a Grenade found in Orange County Home

According to the Los Angeles Times a police raid in Garden Grove revealed the presence of two pipe bombs and a grenade. The Orange County Sheriff conducted the raid and later the Sheriff’s bomb squad was sent into recover the items which were apparently sitting in the backyard of the home in a box. No reason was given for the raid and the names of the people who owned the home were not released. In addition, the Sheriff did not report the arrest of any suspects. A Defendant charged with this offense could face up to three years in prison. See, Penal Code Sections 12301, 12303, 12303.2 et. seq.
