Felony

A felony is any offense where the client can spend more then one year in jail; however, this does not mean that if a client is charged with a felony he will do one year in jail. What it does mean is that as opposed to a misdemeanor offense the possible jail time exposure of the client facing a felony exceeds one-year.

Typical felonies include possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for saleassault with a deadly weaponsexual molestation of children and theft crimes involving large sums of money or goods of considerable value.

Attorney William W. Bruzzo has represented many clients facing felony charges. You may contact him at (714) 547-4636.
