Embezzlement

I was surprised to learn I had a felony WARRANT for my arrest out of Orange County for an incident that had occurred many years before. The District Attorney had charged me with a violation of penal code section 503, Embezzlement; this crime carries a maximum punishment of three years in state prison. If I had attempted to take care of this myself I would have been arrested upon my return to Orange County. As a result I hired William Bruzzo to represent me because of this familiarity with the courts, the judges and the District Attorneys in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo was able to get the warrant recalled without my being present which is usually not permitted since it was a felony case. He then negotiated the case with the District Attorney and in the end got them to agree to DISMISS the case in exchange for restitution. I am truly grateful to Mr. Bruzzo and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any criminal matter. Date: 2/8/10
