Driving With Alcohol Under 21 Years of Age

I was charged with Vehicle Code Section 23140(a) for driving a vehicle while having alcohol in my system and for being under age 21. In addition to facing consequences in the court I was also subject to a DMV hearing and losing my license for up to a year. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. Mr. Bruzzo has been a Criminal/Drunk Driving lawyer for over 20 years and is well known to me and my family. Mr. Bruzzo first won the DMV hearing by showing that the alcohol level results were not properly certified; this is an issue that comes up in alcohol DMV cases which involve those under age 21. When Mr. Bruzzo won this hearing my driving privilege was preserved and I did not lose it. Next Mr. Bruzzo went to the court. He eventually made an arrangement with the court wherein they would dismiss the case once I attended some AA meetings. Mr. Bruzzo was able to do this because of my status as a student, my lack of a record and my relatively low blood alcohol level. After I did the AA meetings Mr. Bruzzo went to court with the proof and the case against me was DISMISSED. I never pled guilty, I never suffered a conviction, and I never paid fines to the court and never lost my license or my ability to drive. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any drunk driving (Vehicle Code Section 23152(a), (b) or Under Age 21 Driving with Alcohol (Vehicle Code Section 23140(a)) matter.
