Violation of a Restraining / Protective Order

I was charged with two counts of Penal Code Section 273.6 (Violation of a Protective Order) when I texted the mother of my child despite the existence of a ‘No Contact’ order. To make matters worse I have a history of Domestic Violence. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. I paid Mr. Bruzzo a flat fee and he made multiple appearances for me. I had the added problem of a pending felony Domestic Violence case. After many court appearances Mr. Bruzzo managed to get BOTH CHARGES DISMISSED! I pled to a Disturbing the Peace Charge (Penal Code Section 415(1) and I got Anger Management. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Violation of Protective Order (Penal Code Section 273.6), Domestic Violence (Penal Code Sections 243(e) (1), 273.5(a)) matter. Date: April 19, 2019

I was the subject of a Domestic Violence Restraining Order which limited me to only “peaceful Contact” with my former wife; later, I was charged with violating that protective order under Penal Code Section 273.6(a) when I sent angry text messages which contained obscenity to her. The police were able to get the text messages and I was charged. If I had been convicted of this charge I would have to complete a 52 domestic violence program and be on three years of probation. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. Mr. Bruzzo has been a lawyer for over 22 years and is very familiar with the District Attorney, Courts and Judges in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo made several attempts to get the case dismissed but the District Attorney was resistant because my former wife was insistent on my getting a conviction. Mr. Bruzzo then set the matter for trial. On the first day of trial he negotiated a deal where the case would be DISMISSED once I completed an anger management program. After I completed 5 classes the case was DISMISSED. I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal case or case dealing with Violating a Court Order. Date: November 16, 2016

I was charged with vandalism [Penal Code Section594(a)/(b)(1)], unauthorized entry of a dwelling [Penal Code Section 602.5 (a)] and violation of a restraining order [Penal Code Section 166(a)(4). I faced up to [1 year] in jail for these offenses. I hired Attorney William W. Bruzzo to represent me in this matter. The first thing Mr. Bruzzo did was get me out of jail by having me released on my own recognizance-which means that I did not have to pay bail. Then Mr. Bruzzo began to negotiate my case with the DA. In the end he got all charges dismissed after I paid restitution [damages]. As such I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal matter. Date: September 7, 2011
